Atlas Elektronik UK has a world-leading engineering and scientific capability that underpins its maritime and security business. We deliver innovative research and develop our advanced products and equipment solutions.
Our engineering divisions comprises of four departments which combine to provide an holistic approach to underwater system design, development and supply:
Sonar Systems
- Design and integration of the complete sonar system
Combat Systems
- Combat management sub-systems
- Common user interfaces and displays
- Open system software architectures
Hydroacoustics
- Design and implementation of outboard sonar technology, including novel sonar transducers, modular arrays and handling systems
- Independent test and acceptance
Electrical/Mechanical
- The development of high quality electrical, electronic and mechanical systems
The engineering and scientific skills of the departments are harnessed through a formal engineering process. This facilitates the development and supply of high quality, robust systems fit for the demanding maritime environment and delivered to stringent military standards.
