Production

Atlas Elektronik UK has a business pedigree in manufacture and production that can be traced through over a century of success.

Our production capabilities include Sonar Systems, Inboard Processing, Mine Countermeasure Systems, Dynamic Cable and Towed Handling Systems, Pressure Hull Glands, Electrical and Optical Dispensing Systems, Fibre Optic sensors, Communications Systems and Unmanned Vehicles.

To complement our core production capabilities, aligned support activities include Programme Management, Quality Planning, Engineering, CAD/CAM professionals, Materials Specialists, Test Engineering, Configuration Management, and International Trade Liaison; providing the necessary mechanisms in order to accomplish the most complex of challenges.   

The success of our production capability can be seen through a variety of programmes that include S2076, S2054, and S2046 Towed Array Cables, S2085 Spearfish torpedo wire guidance systems, HO51R HF intercept array, Sonar 2085 Safety fall back sonar and the 0020 communications buoy tether for the Royal Navy. Other navies including the United States are also served by products including SQQ32 (Electrical and Optical) Mine Hunt towing system, AQS20/a Helicopter Dipping Sonar cable, RMS ROV tether cable, STIMMS
Mine Sweep Cable Assemblies.

Through programme management excellence Atlas Elektronik UK can take responsibility for the complete development cycle from solution conception through to output disposal, whilst maintaining conformance to the best practice principles of  ISO 9001:2008,14000:2004 and BS OHSAS18001:2007 accreditations.

Support

Through life support is a key factor in the lifecycle of our customers’ programmes and Atlas Elektronik UK are dedicated to ensuring that we provide a top level of support once our systems and products are in service. We have a long track record in providing support to the MOD and wider customer base, including: ‘Help Desk’ functions, obsolescence management, long-term continuing logistic support, life extension programmes, technology refresh activities, spare and repair provision and in-field engineering back-up.
